Brio Restaurant, Naples Florida!

The Brio restaurant or better known as The Brio Tuscan Grille!

The Brio Tuscan restaurant, one of the fine Naples Florida restaurants, is located at the Waterside Shops on Tamiami Trail.

Upon my first visit to Brio, I expected nothing more than a ‘run of the mill’ mall restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised that it was not just an ordinary restaurant in Naples!

The Brio restaurant menu is packed with lots of choice of appetizers and entrees.

You can't beat a restaurant where it's difficult to choose, because SO many of the dishes sound SO great! Brio is one of those restaurants!

I enjoyed the Roasted Garlic, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, served with an awesome Parmesan Flatbread.

The platter was more than enough for 4 people, and we struggled to finish it, as it was so yummy!

Our table ordered the Shrimp Risotto, Crab and Shrimp Cakes, Lasagna and Fettuccine Napoli for entrees. The report on the risotto and crab cakes? Both were scrumptious and cooked to perfection! The lasagna? It was oven baked with lots of cheese! My son says it was absolutely the best lasagna he had ever had! He orders lasagna at nearly every restaurant we visit, so I consider him a lasagna Conniseur!

The Fettuccine Napoli? This heavenly dish was a generous serving of fettuccine mixed with caramelized onions, sundried tomatoes (my favorite!), mild pancetta, broccoli, some spice and a divine ‘smoked chicken’, with a light sauce. The smoked chicken truly ‘made’ this dish! I ordered a side Caesar salad, for an extra $4. My entrée and salad was under $20! For this top shelf meal, it was excellent value!

In fact, our total bill for 4 entrees (very generous servings), 2 glasses of wine, a large appetizer to share, was nicely under $100 before taxes and gratuities.

If you're looking for a hotel in Naples close to the Waterside Shops,
the is right across the street!

Brunch at Brio

On Saturday and Sunday, until 3pm, Brio has a delightful brunch menu. If you fancy French toast, you’ll love the delectable dish, White Chocolate Raspberry French Toast: warm, fresh Brioche stuffed with a creamy raspberry cream cheese mixture, and topped off with white chocolate, raspberry sauce and fresh raspberries. What a decadent treat!

The Spinach & Portabello Mushroom Strata is great too, if you’d prefer something more savory than sweet!

Around Easter and other special weekends, Brio also offers a wonderful brunch menu.

The Bar

The Bar at Brio has some good ‘food’ deals during happy hour 3pm-7pm. About a half dozen selections from their Bar Menu, are offered for just $2.95, such as the warm spinach and artichoke dip, beef carpaccio, shrimp cocktail, calamari and ravioli caprese.

There’s indoor and outdoor patio service for the bar. It’s a busy spot during happy hour, so if you have plans for ‘post-Brio’ such as a show at the Naples Philharmonic, around the corner, be sure to arrive early, as it’s a popular spot!

Naples Florida Restaurants at The Waterside Shops

Besides the wonderful Brio restaurant, there are three other great Naples FL Restaurants located at The Waterside Shops: Bricktop’s, California Pizza Kitchen and the Silver Spoon Café.

I thought Brio had great food and service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. My overall experiences at this Naples restaurant have been excellent.
